One of the marginalized populations that PASADA (Pastoral Activities and services for people living with Aids, Dar Esalaam) continues to work with is sex workers and their children. PASADA goes to the community themselves because the majority of sex workers do not have time to come to the health care facilities and also because of the massive stigma that they face. The result is that more mothers are testing their babies, which means more children are surviving and both mother and child are accessing care and treatment services.
