Somaliland

A Right to Choose

Communities in Somaliland continue to struggle to recover from a severe drought, and are facing one of the driest rainy seasons in three decades. 2.2 million people are at risk of starvation. This climate crisis is hitting women and girls from pastoralist communities extremely hard, with many forced to make perilous journeys to reach camps for displaced people. Action Aid are putting women and girls at the forefront of their response so that they can bring changes to their lives and to the lives of those most in need of support.
