She’s Got the Power

Sipiwe Zulu at her home with her grandmother Alexina and her cousins. Sipiwe’s father died and her mother left them and has never returned. Life is tough for Sipiwe, but thanks to the support of her grandmother and her involvement with the  “Keeping the Girls in School” programme which is run by Miet Africa and supported by the Global Fund. Sipiwe is a student at Sikhulile Primary & Secondary School in Zululand South Africa. Through the program students engage in issues such as HIV Aids and unwanted pregnancy. Sipiwe will hopefully finish her education thanks to the “Keeping the Girls in School” programme.
